This character is part of a collection of characters I'm working on, with heavy inspiration from the original Greek myth of the Sirens, who were beautiful feathered women who, after losing a musical battle with the Greek Muses, lost their feathers and were cast into the sea.

This particular character is inspired by an octopus, and I thought it would be an interesting idea to give her a cello because the curvaceous nature of the instrument.
